Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate automatic screen printing presses to produce printed designs on various substrates, including polyester and nylon
• Mix and prepare inks according to color specifications and print requirements.
• Monitor print runs to detect defects, such as ink smudges or registration errors, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain consistent print quality throughout production runs by monitoring ink viscosity, screen tension, and other variables.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Screen Printing Operator
• Proficiency in operating both manual and automatic screen printing presses.
• Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques, including screen preparation, ink mixing, and curing.
• Ability to interpret design specifications and adjust print settings accordingly.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality prints.
• Excellent color perception and the ability to match colors accurately.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Expected hours: 40 per week
